Encinitas Holiday Parade Judges Needed, DEC 2
Here is a chance to be part of the community in the Encinitas Holiday Parade celebrating the Arts!
We are looking for 4-5 judges and I was hoping to have artists judging art versus untrained eyes.
The Parade:
Saturday December 2nd (this Saturday)
5:30pm - 7:15(ish)
Downtown Encinitas/101
Judges:
1. Arrive at the Lumberyard Grandstands no later than 5pm (next to Starbucks and St. Tropez)
2. Judge each of the entries as they go by based on a very simple judging scale (5:35-7:15pm)
You will receive:
1. Free VIP parking across the street behind the Encinitas Fish Shop (if needed) with quick access from 3rd street
2. St. Tropez sandwiches and treats
3. Starbucks coffee and/or tea
4. An amazing view of the parade
5. A small narrative of who you are, your local business, and holidays wishes (if you so desire:)
6. A priceless experience
You will want to do it again next...it's that fun.

Artists' Submissions are now open for Springhill Suites Oceanside/TheatreArtsWest's new theatre/art fusion production. The ART that we will be selecting from Artists' Submissions will be added to this gallery as soon as possible so that writers and composers have the opportunity to continue viewing the pieces to be inspired by "the one" that speaks to them. All the art will be available to all writers and/or composers. Should more than one writer or composer select a same piece of art, we will include the strongest piece of theater. Should a composer and a writer select the same piece, we would produce both pieces.

Exhibit Prospective:
The case is enclosed and locked, 6' feet in width by 4.5' feet high, with a depth of 14"glass shelving (removable). Artwork 1-5 lbs. for the glass shelving, re-movable for taller or heavier artworks. Ceramic, porcelain, clay, bronze,wood, glass, and textile artworks. Sorry, no jewelry.

Jazzercise Call for Eclectic/Abstract Art
CALL FOR ARTISTS
Jazzercise Corporation, in
an effort to support our local artists, has initiated an art lease program. All
local artists are eligible to submit work for the exhibit, October 2017 – April
2018.
The parameters for
exhibiting are as follows.
Works sought need to be
abstract/modern and “eclectic” designs, and must be of one theme, color, or
subject matter. All Art must be 24X30 or larger, must be wired, and ready to
hang. Three-dimensional art must have its own pedestal. All work must be current and original. Work
may or may not be for sale.
Artists submitting works
must be willing to participate in a six-month lease program, with amount of
lease payment to be decided based upon selection of art. Submissions are
limited to six pieces and all works must
remain in the exhibit until close of show (April 2018). October schedule delivering to be announced.
Artists whose work is
accepted will receive a written offer of lease terms for their work. Artists must accept or reject the terms
within 3 days of offer. Art selected
will be delivered to the Jazzercise Corporate Office, (2460 Impala Rd , Carlsbad .

1st Annual Encinitas Flea Market - Call to Vintage Vendors
Encinitas Friends of the Arts (EFA) is
sponsoring its 1st Annual Encinitas Flea Market at Pacific View, with EACEA (Encinitas
Arts Culture and Ecology Alliance), on July 29.2017. This is a community event
to support the restoration of Pacific View School into a community supported
arts, culture and ecology hub.
All art must be original. Vintage items must be 50 years or older, with the exception of
collectibles, one of a kind items from the 70's and treasures could include quality collectibles, clothing, ethnic items, and holiday gift items. There will
be live music, food trucks, baked goods, and the opportunity to see the site
while finding treasures and collectibles.
Please come
and browse for some great collectible art and treasures. Please invite
friends and family to attend this fun event and if you like to dress up in
vintage clothing please do so as you may be able to get in for free. Entrance
fee is $2 per person.

The event committee reserves the right to select, locate or refuse any application that is not suitable for all ages or does not meet the established criteria. 2019 CALL FOR ARTISTS, City of Encinitas
The Civic Arts Program, City of Encinitas, Arts Division is seeking artists for
individual and group exhibitions of two-dimensional (2-D) and three-dimensional
(3-D) artworks. In 2019, the city will mount a total of 52 art exhibits.

CALL FOR ARTISTS: 13th Annual LeucadiART Walk
Hello Artists:
Early applications are open for our 13th Annual LeucadiART Walk on Sunday August 27, 2017! Thank you to all who have participated in the past, we look forward to another successful year in 2017.
The LeucadiART Walk is a must attend event in San Diego drawing 5,000 people to Leucadia for the day to purchase art, interact with art and enjoy the performing arts. This event is free and open to the public. Our media reach through the Leucadia 101 is growing and so is the exposure for the event.
