Southwest Wildlife Arts, is proud to present the 40th "California
Open Wildlife Art Festival." February 16th & 17th, 9:30 - 4:00 pm at NTC Promenade-Liberty Station, 2875 Dewey Road, San Diego, Ca 92106.
The exhibition and competition attracts top
carvers, wildlife artists and art lovers from all over the United States,
Canada, Russia and Japan. Meet Featured Artist, Gloria Chadwick:
Award-winning
artist Gloria Chadwick is a native San Diegan. As such, she has
treasured the opportunity to sketch countless animals at the world famous San
Diego Zoo. When she paints, she wants to share her enthusiasm for nature. She
hopes that her art helps to educate others about the greatest asset that we
have around us--wildlife. Gloria is a member of several state and
national organizations including: signature membership in Artist for Conservation, Women
Artists of the West and the Pacific Southwest Arts Inc. A retired
psychiatric nurse, Gloria lives in Dehesa with her husband, dog, cats
and her adopted burro, Obediah.
