Everyone is Welcome to the Opening Art Reception, June 1, 6-9pm at the Encinitas Community Center

The exhibit is up and we are looking forward to seeing  you.  If you are not able to attend the opening reception, Saturday, June 1, 2019, 6-9pm. Here is a peek of the art on exhibit by Cheryl. The exhibit will be up until July 16, 2019, and proceeds will support the efforts of The Ocean Agency and Exposure Film Labs.

Art, music by three local groups playing all evening, refreshments, no host wine, and a Free opportunity drawing.  The City of Encinitas and the Encinitas Friends of the Arts.  Hosted by Artists, Cheryl Ehlers, Barbara Murray and Armida Flores.

Spring ARTFLING - Coastal Artists - Reception May 23rd, 12-2pm

Jazzercise, Inc. Sponsored Art Exhibit Call for "Abstract" Artists

Jazzercise Corporation, in an effort to support our local artists, has initiated an art lease program.  All local artists are eligible to submit work for the exhibit. 

The parameters for exhibiting are as follows.

Works sought need to be abstract/modern and “eclectic” designs, but must be of one theme, color, or subject matter. Submissions: Up to 6 pieces.  At least 2 of the pieces submitted for review must be at least 36” in one dimension. No work under 24X30 will be accepted in the exhibit. 

All art submitted for consideration must be wired and/or otherwise ready to hang.  Three-dimensional art must have its own pedestal.  All work must be current and original.  Work may or may not be for sale.

Artists submitting works must be willing to participate in a six-month lease program, April - October 2015, with amount of lease payment to be decided based upon selection of art which will be delivered in April.  Exact date TBD.
