The Gallery & Hemp Life Announces Grand Opening and Art Reception Coronado, California

The Gallery & Hemp Life Announces Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony of Flagship CBD Store in Coronado, California

Coronado: The opening of The Gallery & Hemp Life, stands out from other CBD shops in San Diego County, and elevates the consumers experience by combining the beauty of local artwork with retail, where you can indulge in an experience like no other, and an unparalleled business for all things health, wellness and beauty. We cater to high-end tastes and refined palettes, and are more than a store.

We curate a selection of CBD products that are designed to help reduce pain and anxiety for people and pets. Merchandise includes specialty oils, creams, gummies, concentrates, edibles, and topical. The Gallery and Hemp Life isn’t like your typical CBD experience. It’s a unique and beautiful establishment that blends the line between retail and the most dynamic art to intricate sculptures, textiles and jewelry. We invite you to experience what it means to shop in class and transcend the usual. “This is a new look for the industry. It was conceived because of our strong desire to change the stigma around CBD by creating a high-end boutique. The opening of this store is significant to me because there was a need in the community to create a space that was warm and inviting; where people of all ages who are new to CBD products and those that are familiar with the many benefits it offers could find the best CBD products procured”, said founder Michael Tepper.

The Gallery & Hemp Life, will host a grand opening and ribbon cutting of its flagship store

4pm, Saturday, March 21, 2020 and will feature the store’s three local acclaimed artists, Cheryl Ehlers; an award winning and published artist who’s artwork and jewelry is filled with dynamic color in varied styles, Judy Salinsky, a bronze sculptress specializing in ocean artworks, and a member of the National Sculpture Society, and Rosemary Valente, who’s textiles are taken from her German expressionism style paintings. Music and refreshments will be offered.

Located at 126 Orange Avenue, CA, 92118, next to the Coronado Mexican Village Cocina Y Cantina, between 2nd St & 1st St. For store information contact owner Michael Tepper at 442-400-9284; and art curator Cheryl Ehlers at 760-519-1551.

Calling All Artists: The “Berry” Best Poster Contest Has Arrived, Vista, CA

Calling All Artists: The “Berry” Best Poster Contest Has Arrived!

Vista, CA … Artists looking to demonstrate their good taste and delicious artistry need look no farther than the Vista Strawberry Festival Poster Contest sponsored for the fourth consecutive year by ArtBeat on Main Street Gallery and Wine Lounge, 330 Main Street, Vista. Contest guidelines are simple: art should reflect the “flavor and spirit” of the annual Strawberry Festival, which takes place this year on May 29, 2016. Information and applications are at http://artbeatonmainstreet.com/strawberry-poster-contest-info/.

The entry deadline is 5 pm on May 6, 2016. The top three pieces will be displayed at ArtBeat on May 20, 2016, when the winners will be announced and cash prizes ($250, first place; $175, second; $100, third; $25, people’s choice) awarded. The first-place artwork will be featured on the poster and collateral publicity for the 2017 Vista Strawberry Festival.

ArtBeat Owner Kait Matthews notes, “The Gallery has sponsored the poster contest since its inception. We enjoy giving back to the community, we are delighted that art is part of the Festival, and we love showcasing local artists.”

Vista resident Alice Picado’s “Strawberries on Main Street” poster of oversized luscious berries being delivered in an old-fashioned pickup truck to downtown Vista won the hearts of the judges in the inaugural poster contest and set the bar high for the annual display. Vista businessman John Alesi captured first place in 2014 with his droll, surrealistic “Straw Man.” Vistan Pamela Becraft’s 2015 first-place whimsical artwork decorates the this year’s advertisement.

Describing each of the three winning posters to date as uniquely delightful and very “Vista” in design, Matthews says, “This year, we hope to see many colorful depictions of the celebration, which harks back to Vista’s history as the self-proclaimed Strawberry Capital of the World.”

ArtBeat on Main Street co-op gallery and wine lounge is located at 330 Main Street in downtown Vista. It is open Tuesday–Saturday, 11:00am-9:30pm. To learn about gallery partnering opportunities, including space rentals, email info@artbeatonmainstreet.com.
