Cheryl Ehlers kindly requests your assistance, a mere vote to spring board youth art
I am applying for a grant with Mission Main Street for Cheryl Ehlers, to assist The Stardust Arts. The Mission Main Street Grants Program allows businesses a chance to grow.

In order for me to move forward into the reviewing process I need to gather 250 votes by October 15th. I really appreciate if you can assist me in achieving my goal for The Stardust Arts, youth visual art program that I have been providing since 2009.
The Stardust Arts has been involved in the North San Diego coastal city communities and provided over 11,600 students visual art instruction to all ages of children and youth in numerous venues for profit and for non-profit in schools, local Boys and Girls Clubs, outreaching at community events and fairs, hosting private venues, exhibiting in public libraries and any source where my students art was requested and I could spread the word about the importance of art in one's life. Seeking Watercolor Instruction - Join Jayne Spencer

Jayne provides a highly personalized experience.
Inspired at an early age by her father's painting and
sculpting Jayne majored in Graphic Arts at San Diego State University and began
her career as a computer artist. Jayne's background in graphic design is seen
in her paintings; they are bright and bold with a strong sense of design. She
paints what inspires her, capturing a moment in time.
Her work is influenced by
her personal day-to-day experiences as well as her travels abroad. Jayne
specializes in watercolor and displays her work around San Diego. Her works
include local scenes, figures, landscapes, animals, and commissioned work.
Classes: Mondays from 12:00-3:00pm | Tuesdays from 1:30pm-4:30pm | All levels are welcome.

Encinitas Highlands Workshops 2014 with Richard Hawk
NEW location: a light, bright and airy house on
a hill in lovely Encinitas, a short walk to the sea and coastal
downtown, shops, restaurants and more.
Have you ever wanted to paint more intuitively, with flow,
freedom and ease of expression, within a solid design framework? Understand
values? How to create a shape collection and sucessfully use negative space in
your paintings? Explore new techniques? Create with energy and momentum? You'll
be learning and practicing specific ways doing these things in the workshops.
When: March 20, 21, 22 and April 17, 18, 19 (three
day workshops -Thursday, Friday, Saturday)

Media? Any. Bring your materials. Materials lists are
available. Tube watercolor is recommended for ease of learning and handling. These
are small workshops - spaces are limited, so if you are interested, please
don't delay. Learn to paint more intuitively and spontaneously - with a
foundation in good design and proven principles for successful paintings. Join
a group of painters engaged in painting freely and expressively from their
creative core.
These painting workshops are about learning and adventuring
into new territory in a very positive, nurturing and freeing environment. Each
day will feature a presentation on a particular aspect of painting and a
painting demonstration, followed by participant painting time and individual
interaction with the instructor. Featured presentation subject will be at the
discretion of the instructor and announced on Monday mornings. Desires of the
class will certainly be taken into account.
